A consortium of 34 international multi-faith human rights NGOs has written a letter to the US's President and Vice President expressing deep concern over the violations of human rights, persecution, physical attacks and murder of members of minority communities in India.

The two-day Summit for Democracy is starting today in the United States.

The letter provides details and facts for 14 instances in which democracy is under attack by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and members of his party.
