The US Commission on international Religious Freedom says religious freedom conditions in India continued to deteriorate.

In its report, it said that BJP government failed to address communal violence disproportionately affecting minorities over there.

The report criticized Modi government for reinforcing discriminatory nationalist policies and perpetuated hateful to press the minorities living in India.
