Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Germany Salman Sharif called on Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.

The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated him on his appointment and underscored the importance of further deepening Pakistan–Germany relations, particularly by expanding economic cooperation and promoting trade and investment.

He also emphasized that close engagement with the Pakistani diaspora in Germany, support for their welfare and the provision of efficient consular services must remain key priorities for the Embassy.
