Foreign Minister of Croatia Dr. Gordan Grlic Radman has arrived at the Foreign Office in Islamabad for talks with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

On arrival, he was received by the Deputy Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, delegation level talks are underway between Pakistan and Croatia at the Foreign Office in Islamabad.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is leading the Pakistani delegation while the Croatian side is led by its Foreign Minister Dr. Gordan Grlic Radman.

In his opening remarks, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed Pakistan's commitment to deepening engagement with Croatia for sustainable bilateral partnership and closer cooperation within the European Union framework.

The Croatian Foreign Minister said today's meeting provides an excellent opportunity to exchange views on bilateral relations. He said both the countries have excellent relations and there is room to further improve them in the areas of economy and business.

The Croatian Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan's diplomatic efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation in the Middle East. He said we welcome all initiatives that contribute to peace and stability in the region.
