Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro visited the hotels of intending pilgrims in Madinah Munawwarah on Friday.
Our Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema reports from Saudi Arabia that the DG inspected dining halls and inquired about food quality and other facilities being provided to the guests of Allah.
Director Hajj Madinah Zia-ur-Rehman and Food Coordinator Madinah were also present there.
Highlighting the exemplary arrangements made for Hajj days, Abdul Wahab Soomro said for the first time, air-conditioned tents, sofa-cum-mattresses, chipboard partitions, luggage racks, and shaded walkways covered with artificial grass have been introduced.
He emphasized that in terms of facilities, the government Hajj scheme now stands at par with packages worth up to two-point million rupees.
The DG Hajj assured that the pilgrims’ stay will be ideal both in terms of physical comfort and spiritual fulfilment.
He also urged them to pray especially for the peace, security and prosperity of Pakistan.
On the occasion, Pakistani pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the quality of food, accommodation and the dedication of the staff.
