In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Hurriyat parties have felicitated the people and government of Pakistan on the first anniversary of the successful Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos against Indian aggression.
In a statement, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party spokesman Arshad Iqbal termed it a defining moment in Pakistan’s history.
He said the Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos altered the strategic dynamics of the region and forced a neighbouring country to retreat after suffering a crushing defeat.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Omar Abdullah, said that the delimitation exercise in the territory was carried out solely to benefit the BJP and its allies.
Talking to the media persons in Srinagar, he said BJP is deliberately preventing the smooth functioning of his government and delaying the restoration of statehood for political reasons.
A constable of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force identified as Satish Kumar committed suicide in Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, suspected militants carried out coordinated drone attacks on several villages in BJP-ruled Manipur state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, some homes were burnt down in a couple of villages, while all the houses in Choro village were destroyed in the fire.
On the other hand, a fourteen-year-old Muslim girl was kidnapped and molested by Hindutva men belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party in Lucknow.
