In Afghanistan, anti-education policies of Taliban's regime have put future of young generation at risk.
According to the latest report by the United Nations agencies UNICEF and UNESCO, seven million, or fifty-three percent, of the 11.5 million children in Afghanistan are out of school.
The report states that discriminatory gender restrictions imposed by the Taliban regime have so far deprived more than 2.6 million Afghan girls of secondary education. It further says that the restrictions have not only deprived girls of education but have also led to a significant decline in boys' enrolment.
