RJ and Broadcasting Internship Training Programme continues at PBC Lahore

The RJ and Broadcasting Internship Training Programme, organized by Radio Pakistan Lahore, is continuing successfully, providing young participants with practical training in modern broadcasting techniques.

Radio Pakistan Correspondent Qasim Bukhari reports that this is the first comprehensive programme of its kind, attracting a large number of aspiring broadcasters. The initiative aims to equip participants with professional skills and enhance their employment prospects in the broadcasting and digital media industries.

During today's training session, renowned broadcaster and actor Syed Mohsin Gilani interacted with the interns and shared his professional journey. He described Radio Pakistan as the institution that shaped his career and said he proudly considers himself a product of the organization.

Syed Mohsin Gilani also briefed the interns on the fundamentals of broadcasting, including microphone handling, presentation techniques, communication skills, and professional broadcasting ethics.

Addressing the participants, Station Director Radio Pakistan Lahore Dr. Ahmer Sohail Basraa said Radio Pakistan has long served as the country's premier institution for nurturing broadcasters and voice artists. He said developing young talent has always remained one of the organization's core traditions and reaffirmed Radio Pakistan's commitment to continuing such professional training initiatives.

Later, Deputy Secretary to the Federal Minister for Information Asad Ibrar conducted an interactive session on overcoming stage fear. Through a series of practical exercises, he guided the interns on building self-confidence, improving public speaking skills, delivering effective presentations, and communicating confidently before an audience.

The participants described the training sessions as highly informative and beneficial, saying the opportunity to learn directly from experienced broadcasters and media professionals would significantly enhance their practical knowledge and professional capabilities.
