Senator Faisal Javed has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Information Broadcasting and National Heritage (IBNH).

The election took place at a meeting of the Committee at Parliament House Islamabad on Monday.

The name of Faisal Javed was proposed by Senator Maula Bakhsh Chandio and was elected as Chairman of the Committee as unopposed.

After election, Faisal Javed said the Committee will work as team to bring improvement in the working of the ministry, its attached departments and promote soft image of the country.
