
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty today.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed Pakistan-Egypt bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly matters concerning regional security.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister invited Ishaq Dar to undertake a bilateral visit to Egypt at his earliest convenience.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and agreed to remain closely engaged on regional security matters.
They also agreed to meet on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
