Ethnic riots have once again erupted in the civil war-hit Indian state of Manipur due to the Modi government's discriminatory policies.

According to The Times of India, fresh clashes broke out in Kamjong district, where unidentified attackers set on fire twenty houses at three separate locations.

It reported that miscreants torched the Kuki border village of Phaimol, while retaliatory attacks targeted villages inhabited by the Naga community.

According to the newspaper, fifteen houses were completely destroyed by fire in Phaimol village, while seven houses belonging to the Naga community sustained partial damage.
