Pakistan and UNICEF have agreed to bolster close coordination to ensure welfare and protection of children in the country. 

The agreement has been reached during a meeting of UNICEF Country Representative Pernille Ironside with Minister for Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad.

The Minister reaffirmed the Government's commitment to build a safe environment for every child.
