
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has called for a collective response to the security challenges facing the region, including terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and cybercrime.
He was addressing a special meeting of the Ministers of Interior and Public Security of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The Interior Minister emphasized the SCO should work together for a peaceful and secure region. He stressed the importance of enhancing intelligence sharing, conducting joint threat assessments and strengthening efforts to combat online extremism.
Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the Shanghai Spirit, which is founded on mutual trust, equality, partnership and respect for sovereignty.
