President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces for their successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan.

In their separate statements, the President and the Prime Minister commended the personnel for their timely and effective action, seizure of a large cache of arms and ammunition and neutralization of eight terrorists belonging to Fitna Al-Khawarij.

They said operations against Fitna Al-Khawarij will continue under Vision Azm-e-Istehkam until terrorism is completely eliminated.

President Asif Ali Zardari, in his statement, said the nefarious designs of terrorists operating with foreign patronage and local facilitators will never be allowed to succeed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the war against terrorism.
