President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they commended the professional capabilities of the security forces in eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorists in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi.

The President said the killing of more than 1,188 terrorists in Balochistan during the current year is a reflection of the threats faced by Pakistan as well as the capabilities of the security forces.

The Prime Minister said that under Azm-e-Istehkam, operations against anti-state elements would continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
