The Hajj Operation is underway successfully as ninety-eight percent intending pilgrims have got visas under government-sponsored scheme.
In a statement today, the spokesperson of Religious Affairs Ministry said some pilgrims from remote and underprivileged areas faced issues related to biometric verification.
He, however, highlighted that efforts are afoot to resolve issues of the pending cases.
The Ministry’s Hajj IT Cell is in constant contact with the pilgrims in this regard.
The spokesperson added that pilgrims who missed their flights due to visa delays or personal reasons are being accommodated on next flights.
Meanwhile, the Hajj camps are open seven days a week for facilitating the pilgrims.
