Pakistan Hajj Mission has successfully met all timelines set by the Saudi Government and made comprehensive arrangements for intending pilgrims.

Director General Pakistan Hajj Mission Jeddah Abdul Wahab Somro expressed these views in an interview on Thursday.

He said significant improvements have been made in the facilities being provided under the Government Hajj Scheme this year. The Short Hajj package, introduced last year, has been continued this year as well.

The DG said pilgrims have been given the option to choose rooms according to their preferences, including two-bed and three-bed accommodations, particularly to facilitate families.

He highlighted that the Mission has hired accommodation with a capacity of approximately 93,000 beds for Pakistani pilgrims.

Abdul Wahab Soomro said for the first time in Pakistan's Hajj history, sofa beds and personal storage shelves have been introduced in Mina, enhancing pilgrims’ comfort.

He said the government has paid special focus on value addition in services over the past two to three years. Use of modern technology has been expanded, including the development of mobile applications to assist pilgrims.

Meanwhile, special arrangements have also been made for better management at Mashair. Every pilgrim will be informed in advance about their specific tent allocations in Mina.

The Pakistan Hajj Mission, in coordination with relevant Saudi authorities, has ensured meticulous planning to facilitate pilgrims at every stage.

The Director General expressed confidence that this year’s Hajj will be the most well-organized in the country’s history.
