Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar has said that Pakistan will be the first country in the region to secure membership of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Youth Council.  

Talking in Islamabad today (Wednesday), he said Pakistan aims to focus on socio-political empowerment of its youth by announcing, for the first time in its national history, prestigious National Youth Council comprising of outstanding youth from all across the country.

Muhammad Usman Dar expressed hope that this achievement would greatly benefit our youth by giving them exposure to the best international opportunities.
