Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Ali Waseem, has directed officers to perform their duties with dedication and ensure courteous behaviour towards citizens.

He was addressing a Police Darbar in Islamabad today.

The DIG made it clear that inappropriate or unethical conduct with the public will not be tolerated and strict departmental action will be taken against anyone found damaging the reputation of the police.

He also reiterated the department's zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and misuse of authority.

DIG Islamabad assured the participants that all legitimate issues would be addressed in a timely manner and that every available resource would be utilized to improve the welfare and facilities of the force.
