Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Environment and Wildlife Kanwal Liaqat says eliminating environmental pollution is the government's top priority.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan's correspondent Qasim Bukhari, the Parliamentary Secretary said that the government is utilizing all available resources to combat environmental pollution.

She said Punjab is the only province that has introduced its first climate change policy and has presented a smog mitigation plan.

She said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is deeply concerned about sustainable environmental measures.

Kanwal Liaqat said under the Hawk Eye Project, field operations have commenced using drones equipped with the latest technology and aerial surveillance.

She appealed to the public to fully support the Punjab government's efforts to eliminate environmental pollution.
