The Frontier Works Organization (FWO) has cleared the Khunjerab Pass, the most critical land route between Pakistan and China, situated at an elevation of 15,397 feet.

Despite temperatures dropping to minus twenty degree centigrade, FWO teams are utilizing specialized snow-clearance machinery to keep the Karakoram Highway operational.
