Violence against minorities, places of worship on rise in India
November 01, 2026

In India, incidents of violence against minorities and their religious places of worship are on the rise.

Under the extremist Modi regime, discriminatory actions and violent mob attacks targeting the Indian Muslim minority continue to intensify.

According to the Indian journal Clarion India, Hindutva elements launched an attack on a mosque in the state of Bihar, assaulting worshippers and vandalizing property.

The mosque's imam was harassed, while threats were made to blow up the mosque and shoot the worshipers.

In a report published by the news outlet The Siasat Daily, extremist Bajrang Dal workers in the state of Madhya Pradesh brutally attacked Muslim traders.

Due to prevalent religious bias, the severely injured traders were left lying on the floor instead of being provided hospital beds.

International human rights experts state that due to the impunity of Hindu extremists under Modi's patronage, minorities in India remain under constant fear and insecurity.
