Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing people with fast, transparent and quality services at their doorsteps.

He made these remarks, while chairing a meeting in Islamabad today, regarding Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Centres.

The Prime Minister said people should not have to visit offices repeatedly to access public services. He said provision of multiple services under one-roof through Asaan Khidmat Centres is a top government priority.

The Prime Minister directed to expedite the expansion of Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Centre in Islamabad.

Shehbaz Sharif also instructed to accelerate work on Asaan Khidmat Centres in Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Skardu and make them operational at the earliest. He directed to initiate immediate steps to establish these centres in Peshawar and Bannu.

He also directed that Asaan Khidmat Centres be established in other parts of the country in collaboration with the private sector.

The meeting was briefed that over 171,000 applications have been processed at Asaan Khidmat Center, Islamabad this year. It was informed that 99.5 percent of people expressed satisfaction with the services provided by the centre.
