Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and PML-N President and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri RA known as Data Darbar in Lahore today.

They laid floral wreath and offered fateha.

They also prayed for peace, security, prosperity and stability of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said the expansion and development of Data Darbar is an important and historic project aimed at providing facilities to hundreds of thousands of pilgrims.

He said such projects reflect the government’s vision of preserving religious heritage while providing improved public services.

In his remarks, PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) is a great center of spiritual peace, tolerance and harmony.

He said every year millions of pilgrims from across the country and abroad visit Data Darbar.

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the government is determined to provide modern facilities to pilgrims while preserving religious and cultural importance of the shrine.
