‘International community should pressurize India to stop its campaign of oppression in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir’
February 01, 2021

Lt Gen (Retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): Few days back, the UN Secretary General once again offered to facilitate the dialogue process between Pakistan and India. But as India is big consumer market and strategic alliance, the world is hesitant to impose pressure on India to review its aggressive policies. Pakistan on its end at diplomatic level did a great job in exposing cruel Indian face in front of the world. The world must be urged to take notice as India is using Afghan soil for its nefarious designs against Pakistan. Moreover, the continuous ceasefire violations committed by India must also be noticed.  Keeping in view the international politics, we must not be hopeful from the world that it will impose any sort of pressure on India. United Nations being an important forum can play its role to implement its own resolutions on Kashmir issues.

Brig (Retd) Said Nazir (Defense Analyst): As far India’s designs and policies, its human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, its draconian laws for the minorities within India are concerned, the Indian government is totally naked in front of the world. The Indian controversial policies are being reported in many media houses. Pulwama attack was also architect by the Indian think tanks and was aimed to malign Pakistan. India has been completely exposed and there is no doubt that the present Indian government has become the puppet in the hands of extremist RSS. In recent months, the world community has been presented with irrefutable evidence of India’s state-sponsorship of terrorism against Pakistan and anti-Pakistan disinformation and smear campaign globally and it is the responsibility of the world to take notice of it. Pakistan will continue to counter Indian fake claims and we hope that the international community would take full cognizance of the situation and hold India accountable for its actions vitiating the regional environment and endangering peace and security in South Asia.
