Paris-based Reporters Without Borders urges India to immediately restore full internet facility in IOK

The Paris-based Reporters Without Borders has termed the continued restrictions on high speed internet in occupied Kashmir as potentially criminal irresponsibility of New Delhi during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, the head of RSF’s Asia-Pacific desk, Daniel Bastard said eight million Kashmiris continue to be cut off from the vital information which is needed to prevent spread of the pandemic.

Quoting several journalists from occupied Kashmir, the RSF statement said media persons are at high risk from the pandemic as they continue to work in their offices.

It also urged New Delhi to immediately restore internet facility in the occupied valley Kashmir Valley.
