In Afghanistan, seven militants were killed and four others injured as clash erupted in Garziwan district of northern Faryab province today (Saturday).

According to the northern region Army spokesman, the clash erupted after the militants attacked some security checkpoints, and security forces retaliated forcing the militants to flee after leaving dead bodies behind.

The spokesman said there were no casualties of security personnel.
