April 24, 2024

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always fanned hatred and extremism against Muslims in his country.

According to details, despite that the geopolitics of the region have changed now, but India is still promoting politics based on hatred against minorities, particularly Muslims.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has always been targeting India's minority communities, especially Muslims.

Narendra Modi, during the election campaign after 2002 Gujarat riots particularly targeted Muslims. In 2013, Modi openly expressed hatred against Muslims, linking them with infiltrators.

Being the Chief Minister of Indian Gujarat, Modi while referring to Bangladeshi migrants special Muslims in Assam said these people had been brought in India as a pretext of vote bank politics.

The same policy of inciting hatred against Muslims continued even after Modi won the elections in 2014 and during elections campaign in 2019 Lok Sabha elections and 2021 Uttar Pradesh polls.

During this year's Jharkhand Assembly elections, Modi had stated that those inciting riots against citizenship law, Citizenship Amendment Act, can be identified by their clothes.

Modi also accused Congress party of closing down Bhag Ram and planning to ban their god Hanuman during electioneering for the Karnataka Assembly elections.

All this reflects that the Modi government wants to win the upcoming elections by any means and is using the Hindutva ideology to make victory indispensable.
