Toll tax exemption for public representatives has been eliminated and now they are required to pay the tax at all national highways. 

In a statement, Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed said members of national and provincial assemblies as well as of senate are now obliged to pay the toll tariffs.

He said this immunity was creating a burden on the pockets of ordinary people.

Murad Saeed urged the public representatives to actively pay their due revenues and set an example for the masses.
