one thousand and seventy-four pilgrims arrived the holy city on the first day while two thousand and two hundred would reach via nine flights on Wednesday.

The intending pilgrims were transported to their residences in special buses

According to the Ministry, up to twenty thousand Saudi Riyals fine will be imposed on those performing Hajj without a permit or attempting to do so.

In a statement, the Ministry said these requirements also included timely payment for essential services such as Kidana (Mina camps) and Tawafah.

Addressing a ceremony, on the occasion, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said all efforts have been made to provide maximum facilities to the pilgrims.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith harmony has completed all arrangements in this regard.
