President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the need for fostering the atmosphere of mutual respect and political reconciliation realizing the vision of great leaders including Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He underscored the need for meaningful dialogue and consensus to take the country forward.

President said Pakistan needs to revitalize its economy.  He said our primary objective should be to attract foreign direct investment.

The President underscored the importance of promoting positive working relationship and effective coordination between the Government and the Opposition. The President appreciated friendly countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, UAE, China, Turkey, and Qatar, who always supported Pakistan in difficult times.
