Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan (IR Expert): Pakistan has always endorsed every initiative taken for Afghan peace. Stability and peace in Afghanistan is in the best interest of the entire region. Islamabad has always emphasized on the significance of collective efforts for Afghan peace. Pakistan believes that all the regional issues must be resolved through dialogue. Islamabad has always adapted a proactive approach for sustainable peace in neighboring Afghanistan. India is a spoiler in Afghanistan because peace is against its strategic interests. India has always used Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan. It is responsibility of the Kabul government to not permit its land to be used against Pakistan. Good bilateral ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan are beneficial for both the countries. The political leadership of Pakistan and Afghanistan must strengthen their relations for regional peace. Negotiation is the ultimate solution to Afghan dispute.
