Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui (Economist): The government and state institutions, including State Bank and SECP, have made serious efforts to comply with the terms and conditions of FATF and tried their best to eliminate the concerns of the Financial Action Task Force. On the other hand, India by using its influence is making all-out efforts to put Pakistan in blacklist of FATF but it is not possible. Ethically, Pakistan cannot be placed even in the grey list of FATF. India is involved in conspiracies against Pakistan but it cannot succeed in its efforts to isolate Islamabad. It is predicted that India may be the second world power in the world till 2050. India may compromise its economy and increase poverty just to get hegemony in the region.
