Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said Gwadar is emerging as a hub for Pakistan's economic growth and regional connectivity.

In a statement on social media platform X, he termed the successful landing of South Air's first trial flight at New Gwadar International Airport a welcoming development for Balochistan and Pakistan.

The Chief Minister said this new air facility will connect Gwadar more effectively with various cities across the country besides providing easier travel facilities to people and new investment opportunities.

He reiterated the commitment that all available resources would be utilized to develop Gwadar as an economic and trade hub of international standard.
