In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism have martyred six hundred and fifty one Kashmiris including 13 women since 2019 in the territory.

According to a report compiled by the Research Section of Kashmir Media, 99 Kashmiris were killed by Indian troops in fake encounters and custody in the past three years.

Over 18,000 Hurriyat leaders, activists, youth, students, journalists and civil society members were arrested by the troops and India’s notorious National Investigation Agency in, at least, 12,694 cordon and search operations and house raids in the territory.

Family members and relatives of a missing trader from Sopore held a protest at Press Enclave in Srinagar for his recovery.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement in Srinagar termed the deployment of more Indian troops, arbitrary termination of Muslim employees from government job and issuance of hundreds of thousands of domicile certificates to non locals as part of the conspiracy of Modi-led Indian government to impose Hindutva agenda and effect demographic changes in Kashmir on urgent basis.

The Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyat leaders and organisations in their statements strongly opposed the allotment of agricultural land for construction of camps and accommodations for Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force personnel in Kakapora area of Pulwama district.
