
The third phase of the Sehat Sahulat Card Programme was launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
Inauguration the programme in Peshawar on Thursday afternoon, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak said with this, the number of beneficiaries of Sehat Sahulat Card Programme will reach two point five million families.
Each beneficiary will get free treatment up to five hundred and forty thousand rupees annually in selected government and private hospitals.
He said necessary reforms have been introduced in health, education, and police departments to give better results.
The Chief Minister appreciated the German government and other donor agencies for supporting the Sehat Sahulat Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said the government is committed to provide free health facilities to all poor and needy people in the province.
