A delegation of the United Kingdom's Department of International Development called on Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid in Lahore.

During the meeting, the Punjab Minister for Health discussed with the DIFD team about upgradation of public sector hospital, capacity enhancement initiatives for Nursing schools, Sustainable Development Goals, Mother and Child Indicators and Family Planning Program.

On the occasion, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said under the Prime Minister Health Initiative, the upgradation project for many primary healthcare facilities is underway.

She said the government is taking all-out measures to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
