The Central Development Working Party has approved three development projects worth 11.714 billion rupees.

The CDWP, which met in Islamabad today with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in the chair, also recommended two projects to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further consideration.

The approved projects include the establishment of Medical and Nursing College at Gilgit at a cost of over 4.9 billion rupees, the establishment of National Defence University FCS Campus at Defence Complex Islamabad worth over 2.7 billion rupees, and the construction of a road from Zera to Daboori, District Orakzai, costing over four billion rupees.

Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project, worth over 19 billion rupees, and the construction of Water Supply Scheme to Gwadar Town from Mirani Dam under Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Projects Phase-III, worth 29 billion rupees, were referred to ECNEC.
