Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh has said that all available resources are being utilized to modernize Radio Pakistan and align it with contemporary broadcasting standards.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the newly established Audio Archive Center and Podcast Studio at Broadcasting House in Quetta, he emphasized that Radio Pakistan is a strategic national institution that plays a pivotal role in the dissemination of information.

He announced that two state-of-the-art digital radio transmitters will soon be installed in Quetta and Khuzdar which will further enhance the quality and reach of broadcasting in the region.

He added that six new FM transmitters are being installed in different areas of Balochistan for the Saut-ul-Quran channel, which will strengthen religious and educational programming.
