Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has urged Pakistan's political leadership to build consensus on fundamental governance reforms.
He was addressing the First Pakistan Economic Summit in Islamabad today.
The Minister said the country's challenges cannot be resolved without strengthening the democratic system and devolving powers to the grassroots level.
He said the country's youth want a transparent and merit-based system that ensures justice, equal employment opportunities, and fair recruitment to public sector jobs.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that all political parties must sit together to build a consensus on key national issues, including the creation of new administrative units, provincial matters, and other structural reforms.
