UN Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia Miguel Ángel Moratinos called on Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad to discuss global efforts to combat Islamophobia and strengthen cooperation on human rights.         

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the United Nations' efforts to combat Islamophobia, describing these as significant milestones in addressing religious intolerance at the global level.

The Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's steadfast commitment to promoting religious freedom, interfaith harmony, and peaceful coexistence.
