Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the delivery time for a normal passport has been reduced from twenty-one days to fourteen days.

Chairing a meeting along with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary in Islamabad, he said passport offices will implement a fully cashless system. He noted that ending cash payments will eliminate the agent mafia and provide convenience to the people.

The Interior Minister directed to finalize the system for issuing business passports soon.

It was decided to make system for doorstep delivery of passports more efficient.

Mohsin Naqvi said establishment of a Passport Authority is highly important to improve the passport system and provide public convenience.
