Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the Jinnah People's Mass Transit Train Service in Quetta today [Tuesday].

Addressing the ceremony, Minister for Railways said the federal government is committed to providing all possible facilities to the people of Balochistan.

He said Balochistan has taken the lead among provinces by introducing a metro train service.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the service will provide safe, comfortable and affordable transport to students, employees, businesspeople and other citizens.

He said the service will be extended to Bostan and Mastung, while the track will be upgraded for two-way operation within the year.
