Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived back in Islamabad after a successful visit to New York for the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister accompanied the Prime Minister during his high-level engagements and held bilateral meetings with his counterparts.

 He participated in the UN and OIC meetings and chaired the 27th Informal Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers.

He also addressed high-level meetings on artificial intelligence and pandemic preparedness.

Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s principled positions on Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir. He also underscored the importance of upholding dialogue and diplomacy to advance regional peace and stability.
