A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Disposal of Legislative Cases was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad. 

The meeting reviewed various proposed legislative amendments and legal and administrative matters.

The Committee approved the proposed amendments to the FIA Act, 1974, Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.

It also accorded approval to the proposed amendments to the Civil Servants Act, 1973 and the Immigration Rules, 1979, while consideration of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (Amendment) Bill, 2026 was deferred.
