Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has proposed enhanced Pak-China cooperation in technology transfer, local manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digital innovation and smart agriculture.

She was talking to Guizhou Provincial Party Secretary He Zhongyu and his delegation in Guiyang.

She proposed holding a business and investment conference to promote technology transfer and local manufacturing.

Maryam Nawaz expressed a desire to benefit from China's experience in poverty alleviation to improve the lives of people living below the poverty line.

She said more than 50,000 road construction, rehabilitation and expansion projects have been completed across Punjab.

She said Punjab is the first province in Pakistan to institutionalize the use of artificial intelligence in governance and public service delivery.
