Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik says the government is working to develop a competitive, investment-friendly petroleum sector aligned with the country's long-term energy requirements.      

In his separate meetings with the leadership of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pakistan State Oil in Karachi, he called for utilizing digital technology to improve efficiency and timely response in the petroleum sector.

Ali Pervaiz Malik said reforms are being carried out in exploration, refining and downstream markets.
