Recounting of votes took place in constituency of Balochistan Assembly PB-8 Barkhan today.

According to a notification issued by District Returing Officer Barkhan, independent candidate, Abdul Rehman Khetran, retained his victory with a minor difference of sixty five votes by bagging 18705 votes while his rival Abdul Karim secured 18640 votes.

The recounting was made on the request of Abdul Karim who had raised objections about the poll results.
