Irrefutable evidence proves that India has been waging state-sponsored cross-border terrorism against Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said India has been found to operate a terror network inside Pakistan.
He said serving army personnel are involved in providing explosives, IEDs, finances and other material support to terrorists to target not only military but also innocent civilians.
The Director General ISPR said Pakistan apprehended an Indian-trained and sponsored terrorist Abdul Majeed near Jhelum Bus Stand. He said one IED weighing 2.5 kilogrammes, two mobile phones and seventy thousand rupees in cash were recovered from Majeed. On-the-spot investigation revealed that Majeed possessed an Indian drone at his residence, which was subsequently recovered along with one million rupees in cash.
Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also presented Majeed's social media chats and conversations with his handlers. He mentioned that any credible independent agency could examine this irrefutable evidence of Indian involvement in fostering and promoting terrorism within Pakistan. The conversations revealed that Majeed was in contact with Major Sandeep Verma, alias Sameer; Subedar Sukvinder, alias Sikander; Havildar Amit, alias Adil Aman; and one other official of the Indian Army. These interactions exposed the Indian terror network operating in Pakistan, spanning from Balochistan to Lahore. The findings indicated that Indian Army personnel directed Majeed to target crowded locations, such as bus stands, to cause heavy civilian casualties.
The Director General expressed his admiration for the resilient people of Pakistan, as well as the country's law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and armed forces, for facing challenges bravely on a daily basis. He affirmed that nothing could undermine Pakistan.
Regarding the Pahalgam incident, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that seven days have passed since the event, yet no evidence has been provided to substantiate the baseless allegations made against Pakistan.
