In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has denounced the Indian BJP government's policy of dealing with the Kashmir political dispute through military might and a warlike approach.

APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, termed Kashmir a bone of contention between the two nuclear powers of South Asia, Pakistan and India.

He deplored the Indian government's posture of attempting to deal with this political issue through military might and brute force.

The APHC said that the Kashmiri people, despite the prevailing difficult situation, remain steadfast in their demand for the right to self-determination and continue to make sacrifices for their political aspirations.

He said that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute would usher in a new era of peace and development not only in Jammu and Kashmir but throughout South Asia.
